SELF DRIVE TOURS

Self drive is our most popular option, but we can provide a driver and a guide if you wish. Most of our customers prefer to start with one of our tour templates, then to add or change elements so that the tour is just right for them. The guide prices given below are based on two people sharing a room in three star hotels with an economy 4 x 4 vehicle in the low season (October to March), including daytime flights. All our tours include our exclusive aurora tracking and alert service (see bottom of page).

Our exclusive aurora alerts

Everybody wants to see the aurora borealis. For most travellers, the northern lights are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Iceland is the most accessible place to see them.

We use up-to-the-minute data feeds on earth and space weather, and all our tours include a northern lights locating service by text message, straight to your own phone, throughout your visit in Iceland. If the lights are there, our aim is to get you under them at the right place and the right time.

We will also give you specific advice about how to take photographs of the northern lights: what you need to bring and how you need to use it.
